Incentives to join for our new members:

Free one-year membership promotion has been extended through December 31, 2009. A newly appointed Postmaster, OIC, or PMR will get one-year membership free if they sign up within 30 days of being appointed. They won’t regret joining.
PMR’s can join and are offered PMR insurance.

Leadership Conference in Washington DC March 20-25, 2010: Illinois NAPUS will give you partial reimbursement of some of the expense to attend and talk with your Congressmen.

IL State Convention in Bloomington, IL 61701 April 17-20, 2010.

$75 Registration fee and then refunded at the National Convention in Grand Rapids, MI September 11-16, 2010 is being offered to all active first timers attending.  Yes, it’s really FREE for first timers!!

Fall Training Conference. This is very good training to help you do your job and network with fellow Postmasters.

The IPN: Illinois NAPUS publishes 10 information packed papers per year.
The Postmaster Gazette: our national paper is also published 10 times per year.
State Region Meetings: Each Region VP holds their meeting usually within the first three months of the year.
NAPUS Federal Credit Union: Our credit union offers many different services---example: checking and savings accounts, travel, vacation, and convention clubs, and loans. Gail Smith, Postmaster of Sigel, is our IL Service Rep and will be able to help you with any questions about the Credit Union you may have.
Free Postmaster Representation if for any reason you need it for adverse or non-adverse disciplinary actions.  Did I say free to any member?  Yes, it’s free.  This alone is worth your dues!
A bonus for the members that sign up new members: this year we’ll share the wealth (ha ha). IL NAPUS will give you $5 for every new member signed up. This will include any new members signed up since the training conference. Awards will be given at State Convention for the first half of the year and will be mailed to you for the second half of the year. An extra bonus will be given to the one who signs up the most people for the year.
